| Directions | The irregular verbs are circled. Rewrite the sentences using the past tense verb. The first one has been done for you. |

| 1a | We get 1 onion, 2 carrots, 2 stalks of celery, 2 crushed cloves garlic, 1 can crushed tomatoes, 2 cups, dry lentils, 8 cups of water, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 bay leaf, 1 tsp basil, 2 tbls vinegar, salt and pepper to make lentil soup. |
